From 1:00-3:00pm on Sunday December 14, co-founder Nicholas we will be teaching you how to make two classic cocktails, just in time for the in-laws. A guided tasting of four spirits and an Ethanolo¿y tasting/nosing glass are also included in the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased via the link attached and seats are limited to 40 people. We RECOMMEND that you pair up with a friend or partner for this event as there will be one set of tools for two people. Walt Lindala, a member of the Marquette Area Blues Society, wrote a perfect piece about the up and coming show on Sunny.FM, "The Marquette Area Blues Society is presenting a special evening of world-class blues with award-winning guitarist and vocalist D.K. Harrell and his band at The Mather in Ishpeming on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 7:00pm. Blues Society Board Member Mark Hamari spoke about the show with Mark & Walt in the Morning. (AUDIO) Hamari said Harrell is one of the most formidable young stars on the current blues scene, and the 27-year-old’s new album, “Talkin’ Heavy” on Alligator Records, is nominated for Album of the Year, Best Contemporary Blues Album and Harrell is nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Artist in the 2026 Blues Music Awards by the Blues Foundation. The show kicks off at 7:30pm with a special set from the Flat Broke Blues Band, followed by Harrell and his five-piece band for an unforgettable night of music. Tickets are $10.00 in advance and are available at The Mather in Ishpeming and at Marquette Wallpaper & Paint in Marquette."
